Menyr Guide
Menyr and this documentation evolve together
Menyr is in playtest: features are added and reshaped with every release. This documentation follows along, so it is a work in progress too.
If something here doesn't match what you see on screen, the page probably hasn't caught up with the latest release yet. The Discord will settle it.
Menyr is a storytelling engine and a virtual tabletop. You build worlds in three dimensions and play your roleplaying sessions in them with your group.
Menyr is free for everyone.

What Menyr does today
Menyr is in playtest. The following works:
- Generate a 100 km² world and shape it to your liking
- Build dungeons and buildings with an architecture kit
- Paint biomes, sculpt terrain, lay out roads
- Play with up to 16 people, with tokens and dice
- Switch between building and playing at any time
- Share your builds through plain text codes
What Menyr doesn't do yet
Worth knowing before you plan a session: Menyr does not handle game rules yet. There is no built-in character sheet and no system automation. Tables currently use Menyr for the world and the staging, with a paper character sheet on the side.
The full list of what's coming is on a dedicated page.
